PhD Student - Chemistry
I am working on the development of intrinsically disordered protein (IDP) -based “smart” biomaterials, which rapidly responds to physical, chemical and biological stimuli from the microenvironment. I am interested in the relationships between the stimuli-responsiveness of IDPs and their primary sequences as well as post translational modifications, which guides the design and fabrication of protein-based biomaterials as biocompatible alternatives of conventional synthetic polymers.
